A trip to Korea and a 2nd place finish at Ad Stars...

...resulted in a year-long business venture.

Here's the short story.


A telecom company, KT, doesn't want people on their phones.

How do you keep people buying phones...  but keep them off of those same phones..?

The Answer:


Now named "Ties"

I told my friend Chris Beasley about the competition.

He said, "we have to make this the real deal."


A few months of concepting and wire-framing later:

After winning a $5,000 grant, but failing to find a proper minimum viable product, we put the project on standby.
